Oh Rach, you had me at the dough.

One of my favorite culinary delights is the marriage of chocolate and mint, so when I was flipping through the latest issue of Rachel Ray’s magazine, this cookie recipe lifted itself off the page and begged me to make it.  I mean, it has a peppermint patty inside!  I can always tell I’m going to like a cookie when I taste the dough and it’s good enough to be its own dessert.  This dough was rich and chocolatey, so I knew I had a winner on my hands.  (I know I know — raw eggs and all that, but it was worth taking a walk on the wild side to taste this deliciousness.)  Anyway, my version of the cookies is pictured above.  And Rach’s version is pictured here.  Oh, what I wouldn’t give for a food stylist.
