Our dressing room isn’t a jerk.

I don’t know what it is about fitting rooms in a store, but they can cause the angsty-est feelings to come ashore. (Did I just do a poem? About dressing rooms?)

That’s why we’re always working to make sure that you’re comfy and happy in ours. I should note that the physical part of our rooms was designed by Steve. With our small space and the need for two, he had to be pretty crafty. It’s not perfect but it gets the job done. So, here’s a trip down dressing room lane.

The first is circa somewhere in the 2000s. I found these fabulous orange shower curtains at Bed Bath and Not In Business Anymore and used them as our curtains. Everybody loved them and wanted to buy them.

Sometime after that, I decided that I wanted a daisy theme back there so I found this great place (society 6) that will make custom shower curtains from any of the ten trillion images they have on their site. Found these daisies and we entered our black and white era.

Last year, we added all kinds of positive messages to the mirrors as a “take what you need” project. It was really fun and Sue was constantly making new messages because people were needing them.

And this year! This year we enlisted the help of Kirstie from our neighbor business, Laughing Fish Gallery. We met and I explained what I wanted in great detail: daisies and make it cute. She and her mom came up with the idea to paint the walls blue and Kirstie designed and painted the rest. I am in love! 😍

I really hope you’ll feel happy and beautiful in these because thats why we did it!
